Update Day 10

Thank you for all you interest and phone calls regarding the Zac Attack! Today finds him cycling from Chattanooga, TN to Winchester, TN. Zac made it through the mountains of North Carolina , through Franklin and Highlands, and down into North Carolina. A very generous person, Pam Forshee of Smoky Mountain Bicycles, 179 Highlands Road, Franklin insisting on donating lodging for Zac on Day 8 so he could rest comfortably after tackling the strong elevations. Zac continues to be impressed by the kindess and generosity of people along the route. He was, however, about 20 miles behind schedule on Day 8 and had to make them up the next day. Day 9 found him in Chattnooga resting and visiting with friends. We will let him fill us in with the details when he can. Today he is cycling to Winchester, TN., a distance of 73.5 miles. The proprietors of the Historic Bed and Breakfast, the Antebellum Inn graciously have invited Zac to stay with them for the evening. They are concerned that he sleep well and dry since rainfall is expected. Another generous couple who are helping the Zac Attack.!!
